Ms. Ping graduated from Shanghai Teachers University and taught middle schools there for many years. She studied and graduated from school psychologist department in an American university, after she moved to US. She is now working as a school psychologist in public schools. In her spare time, she teaches 2nd grade in the Chinese school. Ms. Ping likes her students to work hard and be able to apply what they learned in class to their everyday life. Ms. Ping will explore new methods to help her students to learn better.
Besides teaching Chinese, Ms. Ping also teaches a workshop for developing children’s creative and critical thinking skills. It will improve their cognitive abilities and problem solving skills so that they will do better in schools and their life.
平老师毕业于师范大学，曾在国内教过许多年的书。来美国后，专攻教育心理，并成为公立学校心理辅导老师。平老师上课对学生要求严格但不失活泼，针对学生特点不断改进教学方法。平老师希望学生能把在课堂上学到的用到他们的生活中去。除了教汉语外，平老师还教一个智力开发班。这个班主要是通过学习创造思维和批判思维的技巧，从而发展学生智力，创造力以及解决问题的能力。
